FAQs:

Q: What is your value proposition (i.e., why should I buy from you)?

A: We deliver the same quality and support you may receive from other prominent online dealers. But we are careful to do it without any pushiness, upselling, over-promising, under-delivering or over-pricing.

Q: Where do you do business?

A: We buy from, and sell to, online customers through the continental USA, Alaska and Canada. At some point, we may opt to include Hawaii and Puerto Rico. We place listings on Audiogon, eBay and USAudioMart.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Raleigh, North Carolina.

Q: What products do you not sell/trade?

A: We do not deal in: television or home theater (except for very high-end separates), all-in-one systems, consoles, “most” 1980-1990’s mid-fi, quadrophonic products, cassette desks, sound bars, loudspeakers too big for normal humans to lift, DIY projects, and many other things that one might imagine.

Q: Will you ship vintage electronics?

A: Usually. We know how to pack and ship, but the fragility of each piece is taken into account.

Q: Do you accept returns on used or demo items?

A: Generally, no. But we stand behind our sales. Anything that is: i) materially not as described, or ii) is DOA—and was not sold as “parts, not working”—will be accepted back. Most other sales are final. We will clearly state if that is not the case with a particular item, and we will also then stipulate the terms any return. A restocking fee will apply.

Q: Do you accept returns on new items?

A: Generally, yes. We follow the applicable manufacturer’s return policy. A re-stocking fee may apply.
